Rosalia
Rosalia Vila Also known as Rosalia, is a Spanish performer of flamenco. As a singer, she has played in the margins of music that is traditional and popular since her teens she also explores other styles like hip-hop, soul and trap. Her voice is described by no less a musician than flamenco Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, but with the same bite as classic ones. El Mal Querer is her second album that was released in 2018, which had a huge commercial and critical reception. After Los Angeles, her debut album released in 2017 was awarded a Latin Grammy for Best New Artist as well as the Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd and The Weeknd, came out in 2021. Motomami was her third studio album comprised songwriting collaborations featuring Cory Henry, James Blake as well as other musicians. The album was released in March 2022 after a live performance of the single Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish vocalist to appear solo on the show. Along with taking home three additional Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia, she also became the first woman to win this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
