MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer is an important player in music in the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu, the hit song from 2016 was awarded the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Favorite Song. The year after Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and then released ADN as his debut full-length album. This album peaked at 8 in the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca the album that was one of the Top Five smash hit in 2010, featured him alongside Ozuna. Mala Influencia was his collaboration with Noriel in 2020. In the following season, Dopamina became his second album. In 2021 he produced a duet for TINI's hit single Maldita Foto. An album release in 2023 featuring the mega-hit La Bachata. Turizo is a musician born in a home with a music program. His mother and brother also played the guitar. According to Turizo, music was an integral aspect of his daily life. When he was a kid he played the ukulele guitar and piano. Although his first choice of career was to become a veterinarian the brother Julian convinced him to take singing lessons with a Cuban teacher. The end outcome of discovering his talents as a performer changed the course of his life.
