Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico to a family of musicians. As a child, she was exposed to lots of traditional music as well as old boleros. She also listened to traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is a fan of tangos. Also, she loves operas and any form dramatic performance. She began singing and learning songs with her mother and commenced more serious singing training when she was 16 working with the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. She studied in Guadalajara at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara and then in Toluca in the School of Sacred Music. She sang throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and various cities while a musician and student. After relocating into California in United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before making the move to her current residence in the southern part of California. She has performed solo Latin American music for private occasions and is a part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. In addition to being an active performer as well as an instructor the passion for music and art keeps her involved in a range of projects. Ana has been a participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands (as as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana thank Inland Master Chorale members for allowing her to perform traditional Latin American song.
